High Grade Chicago Star Hundred
Small Size Type Notes > Federal Reserve Notes
Fr. 2150-G* $100 1928* Chicago G-*
Grade:
PCGS Abt. New 53 PPQ
An outstanding example of this early numbered district star $100 that is as pretty as most any near Gem you could imagine but with a fold at the right. Very few CU notes ever make it to the market because they just don't exist in any quantity and when they do they sell for thousands. Just a couple of months ago we saw a PMG AU 55 that looked pretty flat and lifeless sell for over $1,500. This note is essentially the same grade but the addition of the coveted PPQ designation should make it even a greater triumph for the winning bidder.
Current Bid:
$ 1,100.00
Estimate:
($ 1,750.00 - $ 3,250.00)
