August 3, 1858. A certificate of deposit note from this Terre Haute bank. This note has nice margins and a single hole cancel mark in the upper left. There is a black stamp on the face saying the note had been redeemed at Keokuk, Iowa. A single corner fold keeps this note from a CU grade. Haxby lists this bank as IN-635 but does not list individual notes.
