A very scarce early municipal issue that Harris lists as R-7 with very few of these being seen in recent years. Dated April 17, 1815 with the 'Promise to Pay the Bearer, on Demand' from the City of Albany. Large '50' counter at center. Easily the nicest example we can recall having seen at auction in years. If you have any doubts do some research; a problem-free VF is a great note for this issue.
