It is news when a new type or denomination is found on an individual bank, but it is monumental when we can offer a previously unknown type for a state! This $50 Brown Back from the state capital is one of 7,500 notes printed for the entire state from a total of 10 different banks and has resided quietly for decades in this New Hampshire collection. The note is very lightly circulated, showing a faint roll down the center and lots of embossing. Unfortunately, it has an extreme case of New England Trim and numerous pin holes on the left side. I believe they were the result of the note being pinned to a letter or document, and was likely the reason the note survived for you to bid on today. But as they say, "Where will you find another one?" An incredible note and worth whatever it takes to secure it.
