No doubt one of the very first notes issued by this bank which was chartered in January 1865. While the note shows the classic "New England Trim", it has seen very little actual circulation. The folds seem to be more from storage than being carried in a wallet. One of four Aces known on the bank. Wonderful pen signatures.
