A gorgeous, fresh UNC that is 1 of 27 large notes reported on the bank, with a handful of notes nearly as nice as this example. Stamped signatures of W.W. Grable, President and R.G. Sunderland, Cashier. Delavan was first settled in 1836 but took over 20 years to be organized as a village and is named for Edward C. Delavan, a prominent temperance advocate. It received its first railroad access in 1857.
