A pretty and evenly circulated note from this Cook County bank with 14 large notes reported. The note has clearly stamped purple signatures. The planning for Riverside began in 1868 Emery E. Childs, with the intention of building a unique bedroom community near Chicago along the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Rail line. The fire of 1871 ended Childs business, but the town continued to develop along his plan, incorporating in 1875.
