A beauty from this Livingston County bank with great color and originality. The signature of John Sherwin, President is clear but the cashier's has faded. One of only eight large notes reported. Cullom was founded in 1878 with the arrival of the Illinois Central Railroad to its new settlers. It was incorporated in 1890 and is the home town of Arnold Beckman, inventor of the pH meter (1934).
