Fr. 286 $10 1880 Triple Signature

A rare printed Hillhouse triple signature also signed by Scofield and Gilfillan. It appears there are 13 examples recorded in private hands of this rare type that is seldom ever offered. In 1998 I sold the Levitan note in VF at $15,400. There are only two notes apparently better than this note, and three others similar in quality. Personally I like the overall appearance of this example.
