There are 34 large notes recorded with this amazing bank title, but this could have been even better had it been signed by John Weedman. This note is signed by C.O. Gibbs and another member of the Weedman family as cashier, I think, from what has to be one of the greatest American titles. John Weedman from Farmer City - so cool! Farmer City has had several names, finally deciding on Farmer City in 1869, over forty years after its initial settlement. Railroads arrived shortly after, securing the town s continued success.
