If you are looking for a 1880 $50 Legal Tender and you want better than this note you better buy a large brown seal Fr. 161 instead because they are much more available. The Fr. 164 small red seal is available in VF/XF and under quite often, but quality like this stays in collections. It has been 15 years since last available, otherwise one may approach this quality every couple of years. Great color along with excellent centering and eye appeal.
