This Deuce is the second known note from this rare bank. Chet had acquired it two years before the Ace in a fierce battle for $26,450, when we offered it in our February 2002 sale. A note like this would be the highlight of a normal Wisconsin offering, but with a collection like this one risks becoming jaded. Hopefully, that doesn't prevent the collectors from recognizing the importance of this note. Yes, it has some nicks and tears, but that hardly matters on this rarity.
