Another one of the great Wisconsin rarities that Chet fought to obtain. This bank was chartered in 1865 and issued only First Charter notes until it liquidated 13 years later. Over the next 32 years, the original $110,400 circulation had shrunk to a mere $785. Today, we can account for just $3 of that. This note was purchased in 2004 through auction for a sum of $19,550. Now, four years later, the under bidder will have his second chance at it.
