The rarity of the series of 1875 tens has stood the test of time. Early in my career I began searching for this Allison-New signature combination and it took me at least 10 years to find one. The nearly complete Denerson Collection of Friedberg numbers had just a laminated example. Until I obtained this note in 1991 these were unavailable. When I resold it in March 2001 it realized $28,500 in spirited bidding. Since that time two equally high grade notes have appeared, bringing the known notes to, guess what...10! Will you get to own this rarity? Time will tell.
