This note was the Amon Carter example of this very rare 1875 issue of which there are only 25 notes listed in private collections. A total of only six are listed as CU in the census. I would not expect to see this note graded Gem because the top margin should not allow it. The note does have great color and very good paper quality. It does not show handling or circulation. A truly choice note, much better than the best of the Great Lakes Collection, which was an AU.
