This note has only been publicly offered twice; first, when we offered it as part of the Tom Bain Collection and again by CAA in 2001. There ` are currently 33 notes listed in the census with six showing as UNC. The last sale of an UNC was in the Great Lakes Collection at $22,000 hammer. Now, in a much stronger market, it will be an interesting lot. This is a very rare seal variety that has always been scarce and remains that way as it was a short issue. Good color and centering. Graded Ch. UNC 63 by CGA.
