This is the only $5 Brownback known from this bank and it has the Mystic River title, rather than the Mystic title that was adopted in 1899. They say Brownbacks come both ways, but only this one is known. There are four First Charters with the early title as well. This note has pen signatures of Francis M. Manning and Henry B. Noyes.
