There is little doubt in my mind that this unique note was the "prize" and first choice favorite of Louis Van Belkum's Michigan Collection. It's both his hometown, unique and lovely so isn't that enough? This bank was chartered in 1864 and liquidated in 1883, issuing only First Charters. From the Louis Van Belkum Collection.
