This is a very scarce soldier's savings bond with Morganthau, Jr. A very scarce bond that was only available to soldiers during, and right after the war. One of the best we have seen in condition and in colors. Same portrait of Franklin that was used on the Series of 1914 Federal Reserve notes. Lot includes the original envelope. Intaglio printed by the BEP.
