There are 14 large size notes reported on this, the first title of a large-only bank. The Red Seals were the first notes ordered in the later half of 1907 when the bank was chartered, so only 2,500 sheets were printed. Consequently, just two examples remain today. The piece offered here is new to the census and has no major problems, although there are a couple of pinholes and a spot in the lower margin. This example displays strong, stamped signatures of H.W.
