This was the only national bank from this Clearfield County town, obviously located near coal mines. An unbelievable trade title that cannot be overlooked as to importance. To me, this ranks right up there with the Jewelers National Bank and a few others. They issued 4,405 sheets of $5, $10 and $20 Red Seals. The only two Red Seals known are the #1 $10 and $20. There are also eight Blue Seals reported, but they seldom appear. The quality of this note is excellent and the pen signatures of James. L. Somerville, Vice President and J.M.
