Four of the six national banks in Manchester issued Red Seals, yet notes exist for just two of them. According to the census, this barely-used $20 is the finest Red Seal available on the town. Nice signatures are evident, one stamped and one in pen. There are only 44 Red Seals from all banks known on the state. Signed by Arthur M. Heard, President, and Willis B. Kendall, Cashier.
