This is a tougher denomination for these remainder notes, which were ordered by the Confederate state government, but not issued. This was because the state government had to flee to Marshall, Texas. It is interesting to note that while Missouri did not secede, this government was recognized by the Confederacy and Missouri was recognized by the 12th star on the Confederate flag. This note has decent margins and exceptional paper quality.
