Three of the five national banks in Cairo issued Red Seals, but only the Cairo National Bank has any survivors, and what a beauty this one is! Serial #1, three vertical folds and crispy, white paper are just part of the story. Add the superb pen signatures of Egbert A. Smith, President, and Henry S. Candee, Cashier, and you get a note that is hard to resist.
