National Bank Notes > Indiana
Princeton, American NB, M8166
Fr. 640 $20 1902RS
Princeton had more than its share of national banks, and except for an unreported First Charter-only bank that existed for two years in the early 1870s, this American National Bank is the rarest of the bunch. Only three large notes have been reported, with this being the sole Red Seal. Finally returning to the market since a 1996 appearance in a Stack's sale, today's collectors get their shot at this Red Seal rarity. Signed by Joseph McCarthy, President, and J. W. Kuchman, Cashier. --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection
