Home to 18 national banks, this city and state capital has long been a banking center. Only three of those banks issued Red Seals. This bank issued 16,100 $10-$10-$10-$20 sheets and 3,801 $50-$100 sheets. There are only seven Red Seals known from this bank and this is the only $100 Red Seal. There are only nine from the state out of 119 for the nation. This note is pleasing, with excellent centering and wonderful pen signatures of Henry Eitel, President, and E. A. Porter, Cashier.
