Grade:

Here is another short-lived New York City bank. It was chartered in late 1904 and liquidated less than nine years later. Almost 10,000 sheets of Red Seals were printed and over twice as many Blue Seal sheets. From that number only nine notes are reported, and seven of them are Red Seals. This sharp looking serial #1 note was a CU note that was quarter-folded and stored away. Looking at the census I would say this is the best note on the bank. Super pen signatures of Chas. E. Finlay, President and James Dennison, Cashier. --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection
