New York, National Copper Bank, E8665
Fr. 641 $20 1902RS
Grade:
AU
This bank was chartered in April 1907 and liquidated less than three years later, but not before issuing a huge number of sheets: 45,600 Red Seal sheets and 41,015 Date back sheets. In spite of their effort to be the biggest bank on the block, only nine notes are known today, just four of them Red Seals. This is probably the nicest. The engraved signatures read Charles T. Sabry, President and Walter F. Albertson, Cashier. --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection
