This bank was chartered in 1877 and was liquidated in 1911 after issuing just over 8,600 sheets. There are now six notes listed in the census. Wonderful pen signatures of D.D. Buell, Vice President and H.T. Carpenter, Cashier. The DeGood example was virtually identical to this note and realized $3,250 hammer in 2007. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
