This bank was established as a national bank in 1864 and it was successful through the note issuing period, yet notes are still scarce. This lovely 1875 Series Lazy Deuce is about the earliest note possible. I would not have traded for any other note in the census from this bank. This very attractive note has excellent pen signatures of E.S. Moore, President and C.H. Blood, Cashier. There are only 20 large notes reported. Just an amazing, well centered and pretty Deuce. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
