Plymouth, First National Exchange Bank, 4649
Fr. 472 $5 1882BB
Grade:
Ch. CU
This bank was chartered in 1891 and it liquidated in 1903. They did save some of the $5 Brown Backs they printed. This note is one of 37 notes reported on the bank. It is a beautiful Ch. CU note with great centering and without the handling of most available examples. Excellent pen signatures of D.D. Allen, President and O.A. Fraser, Cashier. We did sell a marginally better example in 2007 at $2,300 hammer. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
