This bank was chartered in 1914 and liquidated in 1931. It was the town's only national bank. This note is on the census as XF, but it looks UNC at a glance. The bank issued only 2,714 sheets of large size, an extremely tiny issue, and there are just six large notes reported. Excellent purple stamped signatures of Paul Anderson, President and Henry J. Veeser, Cashier. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
