This one-bank town was chartered in 1909 and issued notes throughout the national banking era. An interesting name and just seven large notes reported. There is only one higher grade note known. This is the first auction appearance of this note and only three examples have ever appeared at auction. The president's signature was stamped and isn't visible but the cashier's penned his and it's all there. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
