This bank was organized in 1907 and, like the town's other bank, it flourished throughout the note issuing period. Red Seals are the earliest type issued by this bank and Wally's example is quite attractive. It is also the best of the two large notes reported. The purple stamped signatures of J.C. Kirkpatrick, Vice President and M.N. Smith, Cashier are a bit weak. In 2005 a Red Seal realized $3,795 in Fine condition. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
