Bright lights, big city. This is a unique note from one of Los Angeles short-lived banks out of 18 chartered institutions. Less than half, 7 of the 18, issued Red Seals. This bank was in business from 1906 to 1913 and started by printing 5,000 sheets of $5-5-5-5 and 4,000 sheets of $10-10-10-20, with about the same number of 1902 Datebacks. That's all the notes they issued. The signatures are totally gone on this well used, but unique note. --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection
