An impressive brown seal gold certificate that last appeared in the Great Lakes Collection sale, prior to that it was from the Cookson sale in January 1999. This sale represented a great opportunity to collectors as the Levitan sale had shattered all records barely five weeks before, and the recovery of cash flow was evident in the prices of many of the most beautiful gold certificates ever offered. This beauty is probably the third finest known but the look is amazing. The color and paper quality will blow you away!
