There are only two notes known from this Calhoun County community that had seven national banks. This bank was chartered in 1885 and liquidated in 1905. They issued $5, $10 and $20 Brown Backs and only two are known, with this being the lowest grade. This note, previously from the DeGood collection, is really close to being worn out, but not that close. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
