This one-bank town was chartered in 1877 and liquidated in 1934 but none of the earliest notes are known. This is the earliest note known and is in the best possible condition with the most beautiful layout and quality that is unmatched. It has excellent pen signatures of M.D. Crawford and Murray P. Stroud as well. In 2005 we offered a Fine of this type and it brought $3,910. The sky should be the limit for this example. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
