This bank in Menominee County is one of the rarest in the collection. The bank was organized in 1921 and only printed 3,057 sheets of large size notes, and only two are known. This is the best possible example. Fabulous is my choice to explain this magnificent rarity from the Upper Peninsula and a rarity that is absolutely as made with the signatures of J. Rowell, President and C. Gribble, Cashier. I think this will be one of the most sought after notes in the collection. The Fine in the DeGood/Brandimore sale realized $10,500 hammer. This one is a real jewel. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
