This one-bank town has 15 large notes reported on the first title of this Westchester County institution. Red Seals were the first notes ordered and just 517 sheets were deemed to be enough. Only one note was saved from that early issue, this #1 Red Seal. The quality for a circulated note is stellar. There is a single hard centerfold and a few bends elsewhere. The paper is snow white and problem free. And you can't beat the signatures. The president's signature is clearly Robert E. Farley, but we can't decipher the cashier's. This note was last seen in a 2001 CAA auction where it brought $12,100. --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection
