This beauty is from a town that was home to six national banks, but only this bank issued Red Seals. The bank printed 9,500 sheets of $5-5-5-5 and 6,900 sheets of $10-10-10-20s. Here's a lovely $5 with wonderful pen signatures of Joseph Shattuck, President and Justin Varney, Cashier. It's the only Red Seal reported on the bank. This beauty came from our sale in May 1997.
