Logan County was the home to Sterling and its three national banks, only one of which issued Red Seals. It was a shopping place for farmers and miners a century ago. This bank chose the county name as their own. It was chartered in 1905 and issued 1,812 sheets of $10-10-10-20 Red Seals. This is the only Red Seal and it came from eBay at $5,532 in July 2008.
