This was the earliest of the two banks in this Brazo County community. It was chartered in 1886 and issued 4,800 sheets of $5, $10 and $20 Red Seals. There are four Red Seals reported on the bank, with this being the finest one. The stamped signatures of J.W. Howell, President and L.L. McInnis, Cashier are faint. Sold by us from the J.
