Track & Price shows only seven serials reported from this early high denomination "number" note and this beauty was last offered in the Herman Halpern sale From Stack's 3/93 auction. This example is far nicer than any example sold. They range from a 35 which sold for $1,980, a 40 which brought $4,320 and a 25 which realized $6,325. Few collectors have been fortunate enough to find this star rarity in such beautiful quality.
