1935 Bronze Medal, Honeycutt-253a, Basso-817a AE. By C. Zamora. Inauguration of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, November 15, 1935. Obv. Head of Quezon left, legislative building below. Rev. New Coat of arms for the commonwealth. with date and legend. Very Rare in bronze. Pop of only 1 at PCGS. With only a pop of 3 at both PCGS & NGC. This example is the Top Pop and condition census at MS63 as the 2 graded at NGC are MS61 and MS62. Pleasing original luster with some scattered spots of toning throughout. PCGS Plate coin! Likely one of the most coveted of all US-Philippine medals. Truly a rare piece and a treat to encounter in any grade.
