Medal for inauguration of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, November 15, 1935. Silver; 44mm. Likely the most coveted of all US-Philippine medals, long an acknowledged rarity. Obverse: First President Manuel Luis Quezon to left, legislative building below. Reverse: new arms of the Commonwealth, inscription above, date below. XF Details, Cleaned long ago, now with a most pleasing appearance. Couple of scratches on obverse, a few surface marks and edge ding on reverse. Very rarely seen, a truly great opportunity.
