$50 Bond, Unissued with S/N 416, Without Signature. Intaglio, Howell Cobb (president of the provisional Confederate Congress) at top center, Letterpress tints, Letterpress backs, Printed on plain white paper. VF condition with staining at left, some signs of aging. Imprint: American Bank Note Co. New Orleans. Due to high S/N, likely would have "Montgomery" crossed out and "Richmond" written in. Remainders are known from book 4 of these bonds, but with number raging from 751 to 1000. Possibly a rare piece.
