1000 Pounds Coupon Bond, Very low S/N 18 out of c. 1 to 60, Signed by Baron Emil Erlanger (loan manager in Paris and Frankfurt), J. Henry Schroeder (loan agent in London), Colin J. McCrae (CSA European agent), and John Slidell (CSA commissioner to Paris). Orange tint on white, watermarked paper with each coupon watermarked with its due date, Confederacy with flag, bales, etc. at top center, All coupons are hand-signed. VF condition with toning, especially at center and at fold lines on back. Rarity 7+ with 4 to 10 extant, c. 60 issued. No imprint. Very Rare, only five are known at present, with one in a museum.
