Grade:
PCGS Fine 12
A very tough Mitchell County bank with ten known. A large-only bank that opened in 1903 and which was closed by the receiver in 1923. This note bears the first title that was used until 1917 when someone thought better about keeping "German" in the title while in the throes of WWI. This is the only $5 Date Back known. We sold this same note for over $500 in our 2013 PCDA sale.
