Grade: PCGS Fine 12     PCGS
Haxby PA-465 G84a. January 1, 1862. This bank was the oldest in the United States. Organized in 1781, opened in 1782, and chartered by Robert Morris, known as Financier of the American Revolution. Central vignette of George Washington on horseback with Independence Hall seen at lower right. Small rust stains are noted but are of little importance on a Fine 12 note. A very desirable issue.
